Connector Settings


Overview

This article provides a comprehensive guide to effectively updating your system's connector settings.  You will learn how to configure connector settings to ensure seamless integration with other systems. 
If you are not an administrator for the selected system, all settings appear in read-only mode, and you cannot make any modifications.

Step 1 - Start Edit Mode 

  1. To enter edit mode, you have two options to start editing your system:
    1. Option 1: Select the Edit icon from the context menu on the System card.
    2. Option 2: Select the Edit option dropdown on the System Details screen.

  1. Choose any of the above options to go to the edit mode.
  2. Once you are in edit mode, the following sections appear for editing:
    1. Admin Users
    2. Configuration
    3. Details
    4. Logo
    5. Published Trigger
    6. Subscriptions
  3. Each section appears on a separate band. Click the Configuration band.

Step 2 - Accessing Connector Settings 

  1. After clicking the Configuration band, the screen will appear in edit mode with the following subsection:
    1. Application Settings
    2. Connector Settings
    3. Credentials
    4. User-Defined Fields
  2. Click the Connector Settings band.

  1. After clicking the Connector Settings band, the screen will display the list of settings.
  2. The list of settings will vary depending on the system type.
  3. A separate band will represent each connector setting.

Step 3 - Modify Connector Settings 

  1. The band provides the controls for the connector settings.
  2. You can modify the connector setting values using their controls, such as dropdowns, switches, and text boxes.
  3. Modify any of the settings using their respective controls. Use the Save button to apply your modifications.
  4. The action area includes the following action items:
    1. The action area also contains a Help icon. Clicking this icon opens help content in the context area.
    2. A reset icon lets you reset the connector settings — all at once or individually.


Reset All Connector Settings to Default

  1. The Reset All Settings icon lets you reset all connector settings at once. 
  2. To reset all settings to their default values, click the Reset All Settings icon. Clicking the icon resets all connector settings to their default values.
If you are not an admin user for the selected system, all connector settings appear in read-only mode and cannot be modified.


  1. When you click the Reset All Settings button for a band, a confirmation pop-up will appear.
  2. The pop-up will have two options - a Yes button and a No button.
  3. Selecting Yes resets all settings to their default values.
  4. Selecting No cancels the reset.

Reset Selected Settings to Default

  1. To reset the selected settings, click the Select button.
  2. The button text will change to Deselect

  1. Select the settings band you want to reset, and then click the Reset Selected Settings button.
  2. Clicking the button resets the selected connector settings to their default values.

  1. When you click the Reset Selected Settings button for a band, a confirmation pop-up will appear.
