Network Settings

Customize your on-premise connection settings. You can add or modify proxy settings to ensure seamless network access. This section provides the steps to configure these settings for your on-premise application.

Navigate to the Network Settings

Navigation: Settings > General > Network
  1. Go to the Settings module.
  2. Click on the General tab, then select the Network band. 

On-Premise Connections

  1. After clikcing the Network band, the screen will display the On-Premise Connections band.
  2. The action area of the screen includes a Help icon, which you can click to get on-screen help.
  3. Clicking anywhere on the On-Premise Connections band reveals more details about your proxy settings.

View Proxy Settings

  1. The screen displays a list of your configured proxy settings.
  2. If you have not configured any settings, a blank screen with an Add Proxy button appears. Clicking this button allows you to create new settings.
  3. Each proxy setting is represented by a separate band that shows its status: active (green) or inactive (red).
  4. A delete icon appears when you hover over a band, allowing you to delete the selected proxy.
  5. Action Area:
    1. SearchUse this field to search for a proxy setting by name.
    2. Select: Use this feature to delete multiple proxies at once.
    3. HelpThe help icon directs you to a screen with relevant assistance content.
    4. Add: Click this button to add a new proxy.

Add Proxy

  1. To add a new proxy setting, click the Add button on the screen.

  1. Upon clicking the Add button, a Details pop-up will appear.
  2. Fill in all the following details on the pop-up.
    1. Name: Type the proxy name in this mandatory field (up to 100 characters).
    2. Description: Type a description of the proxy in this mandatory field (up to 500 characters).
    3. Key: This field is blank and disabled. The key is generated automatically once the proxy details are saved.  
    4. Save
      1. By default, the Save button is disabled. It becomes enabled once all mandatory fields are completed.
      2. Click Save to save the settings, or click Close to exit the pop-up. 


Modify Proxy

  1. You can modify any of the existing proxy settings.
  2. Click anywhere on the band.

  1. The screen will display the following bands:
    1. Details
    2. Systems
  2. Clicking anywhere on the band will take you to further details of the setting.

Modify Details

  1. Click on the Details band to modify the details.

  1. You can modify the existing details on this screen: 
    1. Name: The field displays the existing proxy name. You can modify it (up to 100 characters).
    2. Description: The field displays the existing description. You can modify it (up to 500 characters).
    3. Key: The field displays the generated proxy key, which cannot be modified. You can copy the key by clicking the copy button next to the field.
    4. Documentation link: A documentation link is also provided. Clicking it opens a new tab with an article on how to install and activate the proxy settings. 
    5. Save: The Save button is disabled until a field is modified. Click Save to save your changes.

View Systems

  1.  Clicking the Systems band displays a list of all systems using this proxy.
  2. If the proxy is not yet assigned to any system, no systems will be listed. The information on this screen is read-only.  

Delete Proxy

You can delete a single proxy or multiple proxies at once.

Delete Single Proxy

  1. When hovering over the band, a Delete icon will appear.
  2. Click on the Delete icon.

  1. Clikcing the Delete icon brings  up a confirmation pop-up with Yes and No button.
  2. Click Yes to delete the proxy.
  3. Click No to terminate the deletion process.

Remove Multiple Proxy

  1. Click the Select button in the action area.

  1. Now select the proxy's band that you want to delete. The selected bands get highlighted. You can choose multiple bands together.
  2. Click on the Delete icon in the action area, and a confirmation pop-up will appear.

  1. Clikcing the Delete icon brings  up a confirmation pop-up with Yes and No button.
  2. Click Yes to delete the proxy.
  3. Click No to terminate the deletion process.
