This section explains how to configure the application's general settings.
Navigate to the Settings
Navigation: Settings > General > Settings
Go to the Settings module.
Click on the General tab and then click the Settings band.
Under the Settings band, a list of the general settings will be displayed.
Each setting is represented on a separate band.
A control is provided at the end of each band, allowing you to configure the settings using the options available in the control:
Automation Update Strategy
Login Timeout
Message Log History Error Messages
Message Log History Filtered Messages
Message Log History Success Messages

System Connector Update Strategy
System Connector Update Strategy
This setting allows you to configure the update options for the system connector directly on the band.
Use the drop-down menu at the end of the band to select your preferred option:
No Automatic Check: Selecting this option turns off automatic updates and notifications. You will not receive alerts about system connector updates.
Check Automatically and Notify: This option lets you receive notifications whenever the system connector is updated.
Check Automatically, Notify, and Download: This option allows you to receive notifications about updates and automatically download them when they become available.
Automation Update Strategy
This setting enables users to configure the update options for the automation directly on the device.
Use the drop-down menu to select your preferred time zone. Once you've made a selection, the application will apply this time zone to all modules by default.
The available choices are as follows:
No Automatic Check: This option prevents automatic updates and notifications. If selected, you will not receive alerts about updates to the automation.
Check Automatically and Notify: This option allows you to receive notifications whenever updates to the automation are available.
Check Automatically, Notify, and Download: This option enables you to receive notifications about updates and automatically download them when they become available.
My TimeZone
This setting allows you to configure the
application's time zone.
You can make adjustments directly on the device.
A
drop-down menu is accessible at the end of the relevant section.
The drop-down
menu provides a comprehensive list of time zone options, allowing you to select
your preferred time zone.
Upon selection, the designated time zone will be
applied to the application, and all modules will default to this time zone
unless stated otherwise.
Login Timeout
This setting allows you to configure the application's
screen logout duration, which can be adjusted directly on the band.
A drop-down
menu is located at the end of the band, offering a selection of fixed time
intervals.
You can select your desired logout time from this menu, with available options presented in minutes.
The chosen duration will be
applied to the application, resulting in an automatic logout from the screen
after the designated period has elapsed.
Message Log History Success Messages
This setting allows you to configure how long the success message history is retained in the message log.
You can adjust this setting directly on the band, where you'll find a drop-down menu at the end.
The drop-down menu offers various durations, including options in days, minutes, weeks, months, and years.
Once you choose a duration, it will determine how long the success messages remain in the log. For instance, if you select one day, the success message will automatically be cleared from the message log history after that period.
Message Log History Error Messages
This setting allows you to configure how long the error message history is retained in the log.
You can adjust this setting directly on the band, where you'll find a drop-down menu at the end.
The drop-down menu offers various durations, including options in days, minutes, weeks, months, and years.
Once you choose a du, iteration will dictate how long the success will stay in the log. For instance, if you select 1 day, the error message will automatically be cleared from the message log history after that period.
Message Log History Filtered Messages
This setting allows you to configure how long the filtered message history is retained in the log.
You can adjust this setting directly on the band. At the end of the band, there is a drop-down menu.
The drop-down menu offers various durations, including
options in days, minutes, weeks, months, and years.
