Default View Settings

This section explains how to configure the default view settings for the network editor. You can establish the default view of the network screen. Two types of views are available on the network screen to enhance the user experience. Once you set the default view, the network screen will always open with the view you selected. However, you can easily switch between the two views on the network screen. This setting will only take effect when you are opening the network screen. 

Navigate to the Network Editor Settings

Navigation: Settings > Personalization >Editor Settings >Network Editor Settings > Default View
  1. Select the Settings icon on the display to access the Settings module.
  2. Next, navigate to the Personalization menu and select Editor Settings.
  3. Proceed by clicking on the Network Editor Settings band.
  4. Finally, click the Default View band. 

  1. The Default View screen is where you can set the default view of the network screen.
  2. The following options are available:
    1. Interaction View
    2. Dataflow View 

Interaction View

  1. By default, the Interaction view will be selected.
  2. If the Dataflow view is selected, and you want to change it to the Interaction View, click on the Interaction View. The tile gets highlighted upon selection.
  3. Once clicked, the selected view preference will be saved instantly, and you'll receive a toaster message confirming the change. 

Dataflow View

  1. To select the Dataflow View, click on the Dataflow View tile. 
  2. Once you click the tile, it will be highlighted. 
  3. The Dataflow view offers two options within the dataflow: 
    1. Entity View, which displays the dataflow using assets, and 
    2. Channel View, which displays it using channels. 
  4. A drop-down menu is located in the top right corner of the tile. 
  5. You can select any option from this menu to view the data flow. 
  6. By default, the Asset View is selected in the drop-down.
