Message Editor Settings

The Editor Settings screen displays a comprehensive list of settings for all editors. You can personalize your editing experience by modifying the font size, tab size, zoom level, color, and other preferences. These settings are tailored to meet your requirements and improve your editing experience. 

Navigate to the Massage Editor

Navigation: Settings > Personalization >Editor Settings
  1. Click the Settings icon on the screen to access the Settings module.
  2. Next, click on the Personalization menu and then select Editor Settings.


The following configuration settings are available under the Editor Settings:
    1. Mapping Editor 
    2. Message Editor 
    3. Flow Editor
    4. Network Editor
  1. In the given interface, each band represents a different configuration setting. The band displays the configuration name, an icon, and a brief description.

Message Editor Settings 

  1. To configure the Message Editor settings, click on the Message Editor band. 

  1. The Message Editor settings offer Font Size, Tab Size, and Color settings.
  2. The current setting is shown at the end of the band.
  3. A "Reset All Editor Settings" icon is provided to reset all Service Editor settings at once. Clicking on the icon will restore all Service Editors' settings to their default values.
  4. The following settings are displayed on the screen:
    1. Colors
    2. Font Size
    3. Tab Size


Font Size

  1. A drop-down menu is provided at the end of the row.
  2. The current font size in use is displayed in the drop-down.

  1. To adjust the Font Size settings, choose the desired font size from the drop-down menu. The supported font size range is 8 to 72. 

Tab Size

  1. A drop-down menu is provided at the end of the row.
  2. The current Tab size settings, which are in use, are displayed in the drop-down.

  1. To change the Tab size settings, select a value from the drop-down menu, which supports values between 2-8.


Color Settings

  1. Click on the Colors band.

  1. Upon clicking the Color band, the following screen will be displayed.
  2. The following color settings are displayed:
    1. Viewer Colors
    2. Editor Colors

Viewer Colors

  1. To access the Viewer Colors section, click anywhere on its corresponding row.

  1. The three color indicator rows display the following color settings.
    1. Color for Value
    2. Color for Elements
    3. Color for Attributes
  2. Each row displays a hex color code corresponding to its settings.

  1. A Change Color button is provided on each row.
  2. Upon clicking the Change Color button, a color picker will open.

  1. Choose a color from the picker and click Save.
  2. Click cancel to close the color picker.

  1. The newly selected color gets added to the corresponding settings.
  2. The selected hex code will be displayed on the row, and the corresponding color will be shown in the preview window for values, elements, or attributes.
  1. You can preview the color settings on the message under the preview window. The preview window will display the configured color for the message editor. 
  2. The preview window will display the JSON and XML samples, allowing you to view how the color configuration appears. 
  3. You can switch between JSON and XML tabs by clicking on them. 
  4. This will help you to view the look and feel of the message editor color settings.
  5. You can also view the message color on the following themes. You can switch between by clicking on them:
    1. Light Theme
    2. Dark Theme

Editors Color

  1. To access the Editor Color section, click anywhere on its corresponding row.

  1. An Editor Template drop-down is provided to choose the template.
  2. You can select any of the templates from the drop-down and look at its preview in the review window.  

  1. You can preview the color settings on the message under the preview window. The preview window will display the configured color for the message editor. 
  2. The preview window will display the JSON and XML samples, allowing you to view how the color configuration appears. 
  3. You can switch between JSON and XML tabs by clicking on them. 
  4. This will help you to view the look and feel of the message editor color settings.
  5. You can also view the message color on the following themes. You can switch between them by clicking on them:
    1. Light Theme
    2. Dark Theme
