Overview
This guide explains how Partner Admins onboard a new lead in the OneEnterprise Partner Portal. The Onboard Lead wizard guides you through four steps — Customer Details, Hosting & Region, Plan & Billing, and Review & Launch — to create and activate a new customer account on the platform.
Use this process when a qualified lead is ready to move into active onboarding. The wizard captures all required configuration in a single guided flow, and the platform automatically provisions the customer environment when you submit.
Before you begin
Make sure you have the following information ready before you start:
- Company name, primary contact name, and email address
- Customer website URL
- Target hosting region and preferred data center
- Desired product edition and billing cycle
Step 1 - Initiate Onboarding Wizard
- The Leads list is the starting point for all onboarding activity. Each row displays the company name, estimated deal value, lead status, onboarding progress, and the date you added the lead.
- Navigate to Leads in the left navigation panel.
- Locate the lead you want to onboard. Use the Status column to confirm the lead is Qualified.
- Hover over the lead row. The Actions column on the right displays a pencil icon (edit) and a three-dot menu (⋯).
- Select the three-dot menu (⋯) to open the context menu.
- Select Onboard from the context menu.
Please note that the onboard option will only be available to leads with Qualified status.
Step 2 - Fill Customer Details
The Onboard Lead wizard opens with the Customer Details step active. The dark navy left panel shows the four-step progress tracker, and the white right panel displays the form you complete for each step.
The context message in the left panel — "Let's get [Company Name] up and running." — updates as you type the company name.
- Enter the company name in the Company field.
The left panel updates the context message with the company name you enter. - Enter the primary contact's email address in the Email field.
- Enter the website URL in the Website field.
- Enter the contact's first and last name in the First Name and Last Name fields.
- Select Next Step to proceed to the Hosting & Region step.
The Next Step button is disabled until all five required fields contain valid input.
To return to the Leads list without saving, select Cancel. To expand contextual help about the current step, select About this step in the left panel.
Step 3 - Select Hosting & Region
This step defines where the customer's OneEnterprise environment is hosted. Select the geographic region, country, and the specific data center that meets the customer's data residency requirements. The step indicator in the left panel marks Customer Details as complete (green circle).
- Select a Region from the dropdown list.
The Country dropdown populates with countries available in that region. - Select the appropriate Country.
- Select a Data Center Region from the dropdown list.
The Data Center dropdown populates with available locations in that grouping. - Select the target Data Center.
- Select Next Step to proceed to Plan & Billing.
The Next Step button is disabled until all four fields have a valid selection.
To go back and change customer details, select Previous Step. Your data from Step 2 is preserved.
Step 4 - Select Plan and Billing
This step assigns the product edition and billing frequency to the customer account. The step indicator marks Customer Details and Hosting & Region as complete.
- Select the appropriate product edition from the Edition dropdown.
- Select the billing frequency from the Billing Cycle dropdown.
- Select Next Step to proceed to Review & Launch.
The Next Step button is disabled until both fields have a valid selection.
To change hosting settings, select Previous Step. Your Hosting & Region data is preserved.
Step 5 - Review Onboarding Details
The Review & Launch step displays a read-only summary of all information you entered across the previous steps. Review each field carefully before you submit, because submission triggers environment provisioning.
- Review all summary fields. All fields are read-only on this screen.
- To correct any value, select Previous Step to go back to the relevant step.
- When the details are correct, select Start Onboarding.
The system validates the data and initiates environment provisioning. The button shows a loading state during submission.
Step 6 - Onboarding Complete
When OneEnterprise successfully creates the customer environment, the wizard displays the Onboarding Complete confirmation screen. The step indicator shows all four steps as complete (green circles).
- Review the confirmation message.
The screen confirms the customer account was created and describes the next steps.
- Select Close to dismiss the wizard and return to the Leads list.
The Leads list refreshes and shows the newly onboarded lead with its updated onboarding status.
