Flow Editor Settings

With the help of a Flow Editor setting, you can customize your editing experience according to your preferences. These settings allow you to adjust the editor's appearance, zoom settings, and other settings. 

Navigate to the Flow Editor

Navigation: Settings > Personalization >Editor Settings >Flow Editor
  1. Click the Settings icon on the screen to access the Settings module.
  2. Next, click on the Personalization menu and then select Editor Settings.

Flow Editor Settings 

  1. To configure the Flow Editor settings, click on the Flow Editor band. 

  1. The following configuration settings are available under the Flow Editor Settings.
  2. In the given interface, each band represents a different configuration setting. The band displays the configuration name, an icon, and a brief description:
    1. Default Message Viewer Settings
    2. Details View Panel Settings
    3. Experience
    4. New Window Position Settings
    5. Show Details View Position
    6. Show OER Message Settings in Message Viewer
    7. Show Overview
    8. Zoom Settings
  1. The setting currently in use is shown at the end of the band.
  2. A "Reset All Editors Settings" icon is provided to reset all Flow Editor settings at once. Clicking on the icon will restore all flow editors' settings to their default values.


Experience

  1. On the screen, there is a row that shows the name of the Experience (which is a type of configuration), an icon, and a short description.
  2. At the end of this row, there is a drop-down menu that displays the current Experience - for instance, it may say Standard, Advance or Expert.
  3. If you wish to change the Experience, simply select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.

Zoom Settings

  1. At the end of the row, you will find a drop-down menu.
  2. This menu displays the current zoom settings that are in use.
  3. To adjust the zoom settings, simply choose a percentage from the drop-down menu.
  4. Please note that the supported zoom range is between 50% to 300%.

Show Overview

  1. A toggle button is located at the end of the row to turn the Overview window in the flow editor on or off.
  2. The current settings which are in use are displayed on the row.
  3. To enable or disable the overview window in the flow editor, toggle the button. 

Default Message Viewer Settings

  1. The row displays the Default Message Viewer Settings (name of the configuration), an icon, and a brief description.
  2. A drop-down menu is provided at the end of the row.
  3. The current experience is displayed in the drop-down—for example, Tree View or Code View. 
  4. Select an appropriate option from the drop-down to change the Default Message Viewer Settings. 
  5. Once the Default Message Viewer Settings are configured, the Flow Editor will always open with the selected settings.

Show OER Message Settings in Message Viewer

  1. A toggle button is located at the end of the row to turn on or off the OER message tab in the flow editor.
  2. The current settings which are in use are displayed on the row.
  3. To enable or disable the OER message tab in the flow editor, toggle the button.
