Upload Object


Overview

Use the upload option to add the object from your local drive. Uploading an object to the Library lets you use it without having to rebuild its structure from scratch. The upload feature is available on the Library > Objects page and takes effect immediately after confirmation.

Before you begin
  1. Confirm that you have the object location handy at your local drive. 
  2. Verify that you have the permissions required to upload objects to the Library.

Upload Object

When you need to upload an existing object to the library, use the Upload option from the Add button dropdown to open the Clone dialog and select the object you want to duplicate.

Step 1: Open the Upload dialog

  1. In the left navigation, select Library, then select Objects.
  2. In the top-right corner of the page, select the dropdown arrow on the Add button.
  3. Select Upload.

Step 2: Select Object For Uploading

  1. In the Upload pop-up, click the Upload icon. Browse the object in your local machine and select it.
  2. The object file will be loaded into the pop-up. The object loading status will be shown at the bottom of the pop-up.
  3. Once the object is uploaded to the pop-up, click the Upload button. 


Step 3: View Uploaded Object

  1. As you hit the Upload button, the selected object will be uploaded to the library and listed on the screen.
  2. You can now modify the uploaded object as needed.
