Time Format Settings

Overview

This section explains how to configure the time format settings.

Navigate to the Language & Region

Navigation: Settings > Language & Region
  1. Go to the Settings module.
  2. Click the Language & Region tab.
  3. Click the Time Format band to expand the section.

Time Format Settings

  1. Use this setting to select the time format for your application.
  2. An accordion is available at the end of the band. Click anywhere on the band to expand the section. 
  3. When you first open the screen, no time format is selected. If you do not specify a time format, the system automatically selects it from your browser and applies it to your application.

Set Time Format

  1. In the expanded section, the dropdown displays the available time format options. Select your preferred format.
  2. The supported time formats are:
    1. 12 hrs
    2. 24 hrs
  3. Select the time format from the dropdown.


Set Timestamp

  1. After you configure the time format, set up the timestamp.
  2. The following time settings are available:
    1. Long
    2. Short
  3. After you select the timestamp format from the dropdown, another dropdown appears next to it. 

Long Timestamp

  1. After you select the long timestamp in the second dropdown, choose the timestamp format.
  2. A dropdown displays the available timestamp formats.
  3. Select the desired timestamp from the list.
  4. The time format saves instantly, and a confirmation message appears on the screen.

Short Timestamp

  1. After you select the short timestamp in the second dropdown, choose the timestamp format.
  2. A dropdown displays the available timestamp formats.
  3. Select the desired timestamp from the list.
  4. The time format saves instantly, and a confirmation message appears on the screen.
