Accept Partnership Offer


Overview

When you receive a partnership offer from a business partner, their dedicated tile will appear prominently on your home screen. This tile will indicate the offer status as 'Open' and display that there are currently "0" contacts and "0" active projects associated with this partnership. You will have the opportunity to carefully consider the offer and can choose to either accept or decline it based on your assessment.

Step 1 - View Offer

  1. Once you receive an offer from a partner, you will see their card on your business partner screen.
  2. The card will display the status as Open
  3. To accept or decline the offer, click the partner card.

Step 2 - Accept Offer

  1. Once you click the partner's card, the screen will display the offer details.
  2. You will see the message and the name of the person who sent you the offer.
  3. Below the message, you will see a list of contacts provided by your partner.
  4. To accept the offer, click Accept as shown in the screenshot.

Assign Role

  1. Once you click the Accept button, an Assign Role screen appears.
  2. On this screen, you need to assign roles to the contacts offered by your partner.
  3. Before accepting, it is essential to assign a role to each contact based on the available environments within your organization. For instance, if three environments are present—namely production, development, and quality testing—at least one role must be assigned for the environment in which you wish the contact to operate.

  1. The screen is divided into two sections: Team Member and Assign Role(s). 
  2. The Team Member section displays a list of accepted contacts. Your partner might have offered you a single or multiple contacts. 
  3. Select the contact in the Team Member section by clicking the band. You can select contacts individually and assign roles to them.
  4. However, you can also assign the same roles to all the contacts. To assign the same role and environment to all contacts, click Select All at the top right of the section.

  1. Once you select an individual contact or choose all the offered contacts, the Assign Role(s) section becomes enabled. 

  1. All available environments will be displayed, each represented by a distinct band. Each band displays the environment name, and at the end of each band is a drop-down menu listing roles associated with that environment.
  2. Select the appropriate role from the drop-down menu.
  3. Close: The Close button closes the pop-up and takes you to the Offer screen.
  4. Accept:
    1. By default, the Accept button is disabled.  
    2. The button will be enabled once you have assigned roles to all the contacts.  
    3. Click the Accept button.

  1. A confirmation pop-up will appear after you click it. Then, click Yes to confirm. 
  2. When you click Yes, a confirmation message will appear on the screen, and you will be taken to the home screen.

  1. The partnership between you and your partner is now active. The partner's tile is fully functional, and you can view the number of contacts it displays. Additionally, the context menu will now show the following options:
    1. Mark Favorite: This option allows you to mark a specific customer as a favorite.
    2. Edit Partnership: This option lets you modify partnership details.
    3. End Partnership: This option allows you to terminate the partnership.

Decline Offer

  1. To decline the offer, follow these steps:
  2. Click the drop-down menu next to the Accept button and select Decline.
  3. A confirmation pop-up titled Decline Offer appears, allowing you to enter your reason for declining.
  4. After providing your reason, click Yes to confirm your decision.
  5. Once you click Yes, the partner's tile will be removed from the screen.


Partner View

After sending an offer to the customer, the customer's tile will display an 'Open' status.

Offer Accepted

  1. Once the customer accepts the offer, the customer's tile will appear without any status indicators. 
  2. This means that the partnership between the partner and the customer is active. 
  3. On the customer's tile, you will see the following details:
    1. The context menu will display the following options:
      1. Mark Favorite: This option lets you designate a specific customer as a favorite.
      2. Edit Partnership: This option lets you modify partnership details.
      3. End Partnership: This option allows you to terminate the partnership.
    2. At the bottom of the tile, the Login to {customer name} link will be active. By clicking this link, you can log in directly to the customer's account. 


Offer Declined

  1. Once the customer declines the offer, their tile displays a Declined status. 
  2. The context menu will then present the following options:
    1. View Partnership:
      1. This option allows you to view the partnership details.
      2. You cannot modify any details of the partnership after it is terminated. All partnership information is read-only.  
    2. Delete:
      1. This option allows you to delete the customer's tile after the partnership is terminated.
