The Timer module in OneEnterprise enables administrators and integration engineers to configure and manage the scheduling of data synchronization processes across all connected systems. Rather than requiring manual intervention each time data needs to be transferred between platforms, the Timer module automates the timing and cadence of service execution — ensuring that integrations run reliably, on schedule, and without disruption to business operations.
Timer settings are organized by connected system — such as Workday, Microsoft OneDrive, and internal Framework Services — and each system can contain multiple timer entries corresponding to specific data entities or processes (for example, Customer, Item, and Order for Workday). Each entry carries its own schedule, allowing fine-grained control over when and how often each integration process runs. This structure lets teams apply different sync frequencies to different data types based on business priority and volume requirements.
The Timer module is accessible from the main navigation sidebar. Navigate to Timer to view and manage all configured timer groups and entries. Administrators use the module to pause, resume, and inspect the execution timing of each integration service, while the Scheduler sub-component provides a dedicated interface for configuring the underlying scheduling logic for individual timer entries.
Key Features
- System-grouped Timer Configuration: Organizes timer settings by connected platform (Workday, Microsoft OneDrive, Framework Services) so administrators can manage schedules per integration partner.
- Multiple Entry Support: Each connected system can host multiple timer entries — one per data entity or process — each with its own independently configured schedule.
- Pause and Resume Control: Each timer entry includes a pause control, allowing administrators to temporarily halt a specific integration without disabling the entire system connection.
- Execution Timestamp Visibility: Every timer entry displays the last scheduled and last completed execution timestamps, giving teams immediate visibility into synchronization status.
- Scheduler Component: A dedicated Scheduler sub-page for each timer entry provides granular control over the scheduling behavior and execution window.
- Framework Services Support: Includes a dedicated timer group for internal OneEnterprise framework processes, enabling performance tuning of platform-level operations.
