Get Your Shopify Credentials


This section explains how to obtain the necessary credentials from Shopify.

Required Credentials 

To connect the Shopify system with OneEnterprise, you need the following details from Shopify. Get the below information from your Shopify account and enter it in the respective fields:
  1. Token (please note that the Token will be referred to as the Admin API access token in the Shopify system.)
  2. Server URL
  3. Reverse Proxy



Follow the steps below to get your credentials:
  1. First, log in to your Shopify account.
  2. Click on the chevron icon in the Apps section.


  1. Click on the App and sales channel settings.





Develop Apps

  1. If you have not created an app, click the Develop apps button.



  1. Click on the Create an app button.

  1. On the Create an app pop-up screen, enter the app name in the App name field.
  2. Click on the Create app button.
 


Configure Admin API Access Scopes

  1. To get started, you need to define the API scope under the Select Your Access Scope section.
  2. Click on the Configure Admin API scopes button.


  1. Select the check box for each field under the Admin API access scopes section. 
  2. Scroll down to view all options and provide both read and write permissions.


  1. Once all the permissions are given, the numbers are displayed next to the Selected tab. 
  2. Click on the Save button to save the configurations.


  1. Click on the Install app button as shown on the screen.


  1. A pop-up window appears to reconfirm the installation.
  2. Click on the Install button to continue.



  1. Under the API credentials tab, the Admin API access token is generated. 
  2. To view and copy the token, click the Reveal token once, as shown on the screen. 


  1. The Admin API access token gets displayed.
  2. Copy the token and save it on your local machine. You must use this token as a password in the Password field when creating a Shopify system in the OneEnterprise portal.

Please note that this token will be displayed only once. Once you move to another screen, you will not view it again.





Get Your Credential
The credentials are required to set up a system. First, please copy all your credentials. Then, use these credentials while creating a system in the OneEnterprise portal:
  1. Application Server URL: Copy your application server URL as shown on the screen. In this example, your application server URL would be store-charli.myshopify.com. Do not copy the complete URL.

  2. Password details: Copy the Admin API access token and use it as a password in the Password field.
  3. Reverse Proxy: A drop-down menu will provide the list of configured proxies. Select the proxy required for your system.
