The dashboard is a useful tool for analyzing and understanding large, diverse datasets from different modules. It simplifies complex information into easy-to-understand insights, helping you quickly spot trends in ongoing tasks, tickets, and other key metrics.
Navigate to the Collaboration Dashboard
Navigation: Collaboration > Dashboard
From the group menu, click the Collaboration menu icon; this will automatically display the Dashboard screen. You can access the Dashboard screen from any other module by clicking Collaboration > Dashboard.
View Dashboard
When you first access the dashboard, default widgets will appear automatically. However, you can add or remove widgets as needed. We will explain how to customize your dashboard in the article.
A widget is a distinct element designed for quick access to key functions of the OneEnterprise application. Integrated into the Dashboard, these widgets create an appealing interface that highlights details about ongoing projects, systems, and transactions.
They offer customization options with user-friendly buttons and adjustable borders for easy resizing. Drop-down menus allow you to tailor the data display, ensuring real-time updates on project and system statuses, as well as attractive graphs and forms for transactions.
- A brief data status is provided at the bottom of the widget.
- To view the data, hover over the icon. The data will be displayed based on the widget.
Customize Dashboard
A distinctive aspect of the dashboard is its customization, allowing you to add or remove widgets to suit your specific needs. Additionally, you can decide how data appears in each widget. The widgets offer multiple data presentation options, letting you choose the one that suits you best.
You can organize your dashboard using the Customize Dashboard option.
- In the action area of the screen, click on the Customize Dashboard icon. This activates the custom mode on your dashboard screen.
- To exit custom mode, click the icon again.
- Once edit mode is enabled, you can adjust widget placement, add new widgets, and remove widgets from the dashboard.
- You can organize the dashboard widgets by dragging them from one place to another within the dashboard. You can also resize any widget in the dashboard.
- Drag the widget vertically or horizontally to increase its size on the canvas.
The customized dashboard mode features a widget catalog on the right side of the screen. The widgets are grouped into categories, and each category contains multiple widgets. To use a widget, you can drag and drop it from the catalog onto the dashboard:
- When you click on the Customize Dashboard icon, a tab called Widgets will appear.
- This tab will display the following categories:
- General
- Analytics
- Collaboration
- Each category has a list of widgets, with an accordion provided for navigation. The accordion allows you to expand or collapse each category.
- Click any accordion to expand the section.
- When you click an accordion in any category, the corresponding section expands, displaying the list of available widgets for that category. For example, if you click the General category, you will see a list of widgets such as Environment and Members of Project.
- To add a widget to the dashboard, drag and drop widgets from the widgets tab onto the dashboard. A list of available widgets is in the catalog for you to choose from.
- Based on your needs, select the widgets and drag and drop them onto the dashboard canvas as shown on the screen.
- Once you place a widget on the dashboard, it will no longer appear in the catalog but will be accessible on the dashboard for use.

The edit option is a handy feature that enables you to fine-tune and customize each widget individually. Depending on the type of widget you are working with, the edit option may vary in the settings and options available. For instance, if you're editing a Collaboration Task widget, you'll have access to the widget name, which you can modify as needed. On the other hand, when editing a Transaction widget, you can change the widget's name and the graph's visual properties. Therefore, it's essential to understand the widget type you're working with so that you can make the most out of the edit option and create a widget that perfectly fits your needs.
- Click the gear icon to enable widget edit mode.
- An Edit Widget tab will open next to the Widget tab.
- The Edit Widget tab will display the widget title in editable mode. You can modify the widget's name in this field.
- To modify the name, start typing the new name in the field.
- The modified name will be saved automatically. You do not need to perform any action on the screen.
- As soon as you start modifying the name, the changes will begin to reflect on the widget.
Modify Data Display Type
There are various display options for widgets that represent transactional data. The widgets that display graphs and charts will include the Data Display option. If you're looking to adjust the way your transactional data is displayed, choose the right choice for your widget:
- To change the data display for any widget, first enable the custom mode by clicking the Customize Dashboard icon.
- Once enabled, all widgets on the dashboard will display a gear icon. Click the gear icon for the widget whose data display type you want to change.
- Expand the Data Display section on the Edit Widget tab.
- You will see a list of options such as Pie, Half Donut, and Full Donut.
- Each option will be represented by a different band displaying the option's name and data type.
- Click the desired band to select a display option. The widgets will then show the data in the chosen format.

Save Customization
Any changes that you make to the Dashboard will be automatically saved, ensuring that you don't lose any of your valuable data. You do not need to worry about manually saving any data on the dashboard; the application will handle it for you. This feature saves you time and effort, allowing you to focus on what's important. Additionally, your customized dashboard will open during your next visit or login, providing a seamless experience every time you use it.
The dashboard lets you remove any widgets you don't need. It's important to note that removing a widget doesn't mean deleting it permanently. When you remove a widget, it is removed from the dashboard but remains in the widget catalog. Therefore, you can always drag and drop the widget from the widget catalog back into the dashboard whenever you need it.
- To remove a widget from the dashboard, first enable the custom mode by clicking the Customize Dashboard icon.
- Once enabled, all widgets on the dashboard will display a Remove icon.
- To remove a widget, click the Remove icon on that widget.
- When you click the Remove icon, a pop-up will appear to confirm the removal.
- The pop-up will have two options: Yes and No buttons.
- If you select the Yes button, the widget will be removed from the dashboard.
- However, the removal process will be terminated if you select the No button.

Once you remove a widget from the dashboard, it will no longer appear there but will remain accessible in the catalog for reuse.
